Pastor Michael Moore

As a pastor, Michael Moore has devoted his life to service, listening to and learning from the community while advocating for its needs. With our current councilwoman retiring, Michael is running to ensure East Fort Worth has a dedicated voice on the city council who will fight tirelessly for the community.

On the city council, Michael will work to ensure the city invests equitably in the east side, attracting new development and quality jobs, improving neighborhood safety, and protecting the vibrant communities that make our district unique.

Michael serves as the Senior Pastor at New Bethel Church and is a member of the Fort Worth Park and Recreation Advisory Board. He is a proud product of Tarrant County Jr. College and Southern Bible College.

"As president of our Neighborhood Association, I’ve ensured our community’s voice shapes its future. As a Parks Board Member, I’ve tirelessly advocated for the city’s Master Parks Plan. As a Historic and Cultural Landmark Commissioner, I’ve preserved the East Side’s rich heritage. Serving as Mayor Pro Tem Gyna Bivens’ Second Chair has honed my ability to drive real change.  I’m ready to lead District 5 with experience, passion, and a proven commitment to progress."

Pastor Moore’s Priorities:

  • Revitalize Neighborhoods
  • Improve Parks
  • Keep Families Safe
  • Lower Taxes
  • Create Opportunity
  • Improve Literacy
